Meal Times at the Strong School
Meal times at the Strong School: K - 4 students will have breakfast from 7:45 - 8:05 with class starting at 8:05. The middle school students in grades 5 - 8 will go to the cafeteria at 9:50 and return to their classes at 10:10. K - 2 will have lunch 11:25 - 11:50. Grades 3 - 4 will have lunch from 11:55 - 12:20 and grades 5 - 8 will have lunch from 12:25 - 12:50.

Sept. 30, There will be a meeting at 5:00PM for those wishing to have a conversation about the proposed pre-kindergarten program for 2015 in M.S.A.D.#58. The meeting will take place in the library at the Strong School.

October 14: The Strong P.T.O. will meet in the library from 3:00 - 4:00.
October 15: 1-2-3 MAGIC
October 15, 22 and 30: The Franklin County Children's Task Force is offering the class, 1-2-3 MAGIC from 5:00 - 7:30 at the Strong School. Dinner will be offered from 5:00 - 5:30 followed by the class from 5:30 - 7:30. Child care, the meal and the class are free. Please make reservations to be a part of this class where parenting solutions are offered by calling 778 - 6960 or emailing Doug Saunders at firstname.lastname@example.org
October 22 - Tough Mountain Challenge
October 22 - The middle school students in the district will participate in the Tough Mountain Challenge at Mt. Abram High School in the morning. The events scheduled will be part of the regular physical education assessments done through out the year, including the mile run. The challenge will take place, weather permitting, beginning at 8:20AM.
October 22 - Early Release Day
October 22 is an Early Release Day with students being dismissed at 11:35AM. Teachers will participate in professional development in the afternoon.
October 22 - Class 2 of the 1-2-3 MAGIC - parenting solutions
October 22 - The second class of 1-2-3 MAGIC will take place at the Strong School from 5:00 - 7:30PM. Contact the Franklin County Children's Task Force for more information.
October 30 - Final class of 1 -2 -3 MAGIC Parenting Solutions
October 30 - The final class of 1-2-3 MAGIC will take place at the Strong School from 5:00 - 7:30PM. Contact the Franklin County Children's Task Force for more information.
October 31 - K - 4 Halloween Dance
October 31 - The K - 4 Halloween Dance will take place in the Strong School gym from 4:00 - 5:00PM. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a donation of a non-perishable food to put towards the Thanksgiving Baskets that the P.T.O. will be putting together.
November 8, 2014 Craft Fair
November 8: The annual Grade 8 Craft Fair will be held from 9:00AM - 2:00PM in the Strong School gym on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Crafters should call the school at 684 - 3521 to reserve a table. Proceeds from the event go towards the end of the year grade 8 class of 2015 class trip. Crafters are asked to make a monetary donation of their choosing to the 8th grade at the end of the fair.
